What do we collect?
The website uses no analytics tools, tracking scripts or marketing cookies, so we do not show a consent banner.
The web server keeps technical logs, including IP address, time and the page requested. The logs are used for operation and security.
The website has no form that stores information. When you contact us by email or phone, we use the details you give (for example name, phone number, email address, preferred tour and date) to answer your enquiry and to carry out the tour you book.
External services
YouTube videos load only when you click play. Information about your visit is then passed to YouTube (Google), which uses a privacy-enhanced embed that sets no cookies before playback.
The page for tours for individuals shows an external sign-up system. When you open that page, the provider of the sign-up system may receive technical information such as your IP address. Details you enter in the sign-up are processed by them under their own privacy policy.
The link to Facebook takes you to Facebook’s website. We have no control over what Facebook collects there.
How long do we keep data?
Emails and booking details are kept for as long as needed to carry out the tour and to meet accounting requirements. Technical logs are deleted after a short time.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of the data we hold about you, and you can object to the processing. Send an email to post@fyrtilfyr.no. If you believe we process data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
